This month, the Tourist Authority of Thailand (TAT) in partnership with Beijing celebrates the 43rd anniversary of Thai-Chinese diplomatic ties with vibrant Chinese New Year celebrations in significant Sino-Thai neighborhoods in Bangkok and 12 provinces.

The events will happen in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Sawan, Suphan Buri, Ayutthaya, Pattaya, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Udon Thani, Songkhla, Trang and Phuket. Emphasizes are folk dances, acrobatic programs, martial arts, Chinese puppet operas and folk music by 135 Chinese entertainers from 9 provinces of China.
— The Bangkok Chinatown Celebration 2018 will be held tomorrow and Saturday in Yaowarat. It will integrate home entertainment, efficiencies, tasty food and uncommon advantageous presents. Visitors will have the ability to view folk dances from Zhejiang and Hebei in addition to martial arts from Henan, and listen to folk music from Shanxi.
— In the northern province of Chiang Mai, events will happen tomorrow and Saturday on Khung Hair, Chang Moi and Witchayanon Roadways in Muang district. There will be a Chinese puppet opera from Fujian and folk dances from Hainan.
— In Nakhon Sawan province, the continuous events on the banks at the beginning point of the Chao Phraya River will last till Tuesday. To look for true blessings for the Year of the Dragon, residents pay aspects to Chao Pho and Chao Mae Pak Nam Pho, the guardian spirits of Nakhon Sawan.
— In Suphan Buri, events will happen tomorrow and Saturday at the Heavenly Dragon Park in Muang district.
— In Ayutthaya, the celebration will happen from Saturday to Thursday on a stretch of Naresuan Roadway varying from Chao Phrom Market to Chedi Chao Ai Chao Yi.
— In Ratchaburi, events will happen till Sunday along Voradej and Amarin roadways in Muang district. Emphasizes consist of a Chinatown procession, fireworks show, appeal and skill contests.
— In Phetchaburi, the celebration will be held till Saturday along Surinthara Ruechai Roadway in Muang district.
— In the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, events will happen from tomorrow to Sunday around the statue of Thao Suranaree and the boneyard in Muang district.
— In Udon Thani, the celebration will be held from tomorrow to Sunday along Prachak Silpakhom Roadway in Nakhon Udon Thani Town. An acrobatic program from Shandong and dances from Heilongjiang in Udon Thani will be highlights.
— In Pattaya City, the celebration will happen from tomorrow to Sunday at Wat Bung Bowon Sathit in Restriction Bung district and at Lan Pho Park in Tambon Na Klua.
— In Songkhla’s Hat Yai district, events will be held from tomorrow to Monday at Srinakhorn Structure School on Thammanoonwithi Roadway. There will be a fireworks show, home entertainment, contests and merit-making, in addition to folk dances from Mongolia.
— The Phuket Chinese New Year Celebration will be held from Wednesday to Friday in Phuket Old Town and at the Queen’s Park in Muang district. There will be a Baba Yaya Peranakan procession and cultural programs. An acrobatic program from Shandong, and folk dances from Mongolia will be staged on Wednesday and Thursday. Throughout the celebration, residents observe customs and pay regard to Chinese divine beings and guardian spirits.
— In Trang, the celebration will be kept in front of the Nakhon Trang Town Workplace from tomorrow to Sunday.
