On September 30, the Royal Thai Navy managed a ritualistic goodbye aboard the HTMS Chang, the royal flagship, for Admiral Cherngchai Chomcherngphaed, Leader of the Royal Thai Navy, as he got ready for retirement. The occasion included a detailed marine assessment, commemorating the renowned officer throughout his goodbye trip of the Sattahip area.

Admiral Cherngchai got honours and regard from Admiral Adung Phaneiem, the Leader of the Royal Thai Naval Fleet, and senior military officers in Sattahip. The HTMS Phin Klao warship fired a 19-gun royal salute, marking the event.

Post-inspection, Admiral Adung revealed appreciation and thankfulness, highlighting Admiral Cherngchai’s commitment and professionalism. He highlighted the value of unity and cooperation amongst marine workers in satisfying their responsibilities for nationwide interests and maritime security.

Admiral Cherngchai, the 56th Leader in the Navy’s history, served for a 1 year term. He concentrated on carrying out crucial policies, strengthening the Navy’s structure, and promoting cooperation amongst workers to attain the vision of being a leading maritime security firm in the area.
