PATTAYA, Thailand— The Pattaya City Rescue Center reacted to a distress signal about a capsized boat off the southern end of Strolling Street on Oct 18. Many individuals observed the distressed kayak, around 200 meters from the coast, with residents Nopporn Buasunthorn, 42, and a girl called “A.” waving for assistance.
Noticeably shaken, the travelers stated their painful experience. Nopporn stated that the kayak had actually capsized due to excess weight as they ventured too far from the coast where the waves were greater and the current was more powerful than he expected.
