PATTAYA, Thailand A specific health screening task, concentrating on diabetes and hypertension, happened at the Siri Expert Singh Sabha Gurdwara, Sikh temple in South Pattaya on October 27. The effort, led by the Pattaya City Department of Public Health and Environment, saw active involvement from the regional Indian neighborhood.

Pacharin Chinapat, from the Department of Public Health, Pattaya City, revealed that the effort was enabled through partnership with the Pattaya City Medical Insurance Fund and Pattaya City Healthcare Facility. The task intended to offer complimentary diabetes and hypertension screenings, targeting locals aged 35 and above in the city location of Pattaya. The overarching objective was to develop local health care requirements.

The health screening, focused in South Pattaya, home to a considerable population of Thai-Sikh locals, provided a series of services, consisting of blood glucose tests, high blood pressure measurements, and standard medical exams for typical health problems. The information gathered will contribute important insights into public health particular to each neighborhood.
