CHON BURI: A trans female has actually been jailed on a charge of taking a 200,000-baht gold bracelet from an Indian traveler in Pattaya.

Cops nabbed Saranphat Bovornkitnukorn, 39, at a condo on soi Khao Noi in Bang Lamung district around 9pm on Tuesday.

Saranphat was desired on an arrest warrant released by Pattaya Provincial Court on a charge of theft.

Indian traveler Kolal Avisake, 40, had actually submitted a grievance with Pattaya authorities on Dec 3 that his gold bracelet worth about 200,000 baht was missing out on, thought taken. Security electronic camera recordings revealed a male in female’s clothes taking the bracelet from Mr Avisake in front of a store on Pattaya’s Strolling Street.

Private investigators tracked the suspect to the condo in Soi Khao Noi. A security personnel was asked to knock on the door of the suspect’s space. When Saranphat unlocked, authorities carried out the arrest warrant.

Saranphat confessed being the individual called in the warrant, however rejected taking the gold bracelet.
