PATTAYA, Thailand— Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai took the lead in a seaside clean-up near Bali Hai Pier Beachfront Rescue Center on January 10, managing the collection and disposal of a considerable quantity of plastic, paper, foam containers, and residues from marine devices along the shoreline.

Acknowledging public issues about fishing boats adding to particles build-up and adversely affecting the seaside landscape and boat traffic to Koh Larn Island, Manot revealed strategies to transfer fishing boats to designated locations, particularly on Wong Amat Beach and Jomtien Beach. These locations will act as controlled docking points under Pattaya authorities’ watchful oversight, guaranteeing an unified coexistence in between regional fishing activities and the conservation of Pattaya’s natural seaside appeal.
