Pattaya’s brand-new authorities chief pledged to withdraw the visas of foreign travelers who destroy the city’s image.
Pol. Col. Thanapong Photi consulted with Traveler and Migration authorities and other city authorities, Feb. 9 to set policies for how to handle travelers who break the law or trigger “issues” that besmirch the beautiful, family-friendly pictures of Pattaya.
Thanapong stated the policies will use to both Thai and foreign travelers, in addition to expats, which “nobody is above the law”. If travelers break the law, they will be prosecuted, he promised.
When it comes to law-breaking foreign travelers, their visas will be withdrawed and deported, Thanapong pledged.
