The 3 Kingdoms Park in Pattaya is an amusement park based upon the 14 th century Chinese book “Love of the 3 Kingdoms”.
The amusement park, likewise referred to as Suan Samkok was developed by effective Chinese Thai business owner Kiarti Srifuengfung, the creator of the Asaha Glass Business. The park was produced with the objective of revealing visitors elements of Buddhism and Chinese culture and approach.
Murals illustrating Love of the 3 Kingdoms
The 3 Kingdoms Park is embeded in big well kept premises and includes 3 Chinese design pagodas and a long wall with murals, where scenes from the Love of the 3 Kingdoms impressive are portrayed. Besides the mural paintings there are a variety of big Chinese vases and paintings on screen, revealing scenes from the impressive.
Chinese pagodas
The 3 Kingdoms park includes one big primary pagoda and 2 smaller sized ones. The middle biggest pagoda provides a variety of characters from the 3 Kingdoms story and a statue of the creator of the park, along with a variety of Chinese vases and paintings informing scenes from the 3 Kingdoms story.
The leading flooring includes Chinese statues and Buddha antiques. From here, you will have a great view of the surrounding location.
Statue of The Goddess of Grace
Among the smaller sized structures includes a white marble statue of the Chinese Goddess of Grace, Guanyin. The other smaller sized structure includes 18 statues of Luohan quan, a type of Arhat fighters, a battling design stated to stem from monks in the Chinese Shaolin temple.
Outside you will discover a variety of ancient Chinese warrior statues. The effectively kept landscaped location and the visually pleasing style of the pagodas offer the location a peaceful environment.
The 3 Kingdoms story
The wall of the gallery includes a 240 meters long hand made mural painting, that illustrates 56 scenes of the unique Love of the 3 Kingdoms. Every panel includes a brief description of the scene in wonderfully composed English language.
The Love of the 3 Kingdoms unique was composed in the 14 th century throughout the early Ming dynasty by popular Chinese author Luo Guanzhong. The impressive outlines the unclear times of the 3 Kingdoms age, which was from 169 to 280.
It is a story of war, has a hard time and commitment. The 3 states Cao Wei, Shu Han and Eastern Wu emerged from the fall of the Han dynasty and were eventually joined into the 3 Kingdoms in the year 220.
Area
The 3 Kingdoms Park lies near the Horseshoe Point Resort, simply off Phon Prapha Nimit 34 Roadway in Bang Lamung district, a little over 15 kilometers from the center of Pattaya.
How to arrive
The park is not on any of the songthaew (baht bus) paths. To arrive you can either charter a songthaew or take a taxi, that you can schedule through your hotel or at one of the taxi stands in town.
