CHON BURI: 8 British travelers were hurt, 3 of them seriously, when the van they were taking a trip in crashed into the average railing on the Bangkok-Chon Buri freeway on Tuesday early morning.
The mishap happened about 10.30 am in between kilometre markers 118-119 on the Pattaya-bound side of the freeway in Bang Lamung district.
Thanakorn To-iam, 53, the chauffeur of the van, stated he got his guests at Suvarnabhumi airport and was taking them to Pattaya. The van’s left rear tire burst, triggering the automobile to swerve and strike the railing of the roadway average.
8 of the travelers, who were not called, were hurt, 3 of them seriously. They were required to Bangkok Pattaya Healthcare facility after getting first-aid at the mishap scene.
Cops were examining.
