BANGKOK, Thailand – From October 28 to November 3, Bangkok’s Little India will come alive with the grandest Indian cultural festival. Held at Phahurat Road – Khlong Ong Ang – Saphan Lek, the event will be filled with vibrant Bollywood-style performances featuring lights, colors, and sounds throughout the day.
Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of Indian cuisine, both savory and sweet, from more than 20 of Thailand’s top Maharaja-style restaurants. In addition, religious activities such as the worship of Ganesha and Lakshmi will be held to bring good fortune and success to participants.
The festival will also feature a bustling market where attendees can shop for Indian-style goods, including saris, jewelry, and cultural decorations from over 40 renowned vendors.
This year’s Diwali celebration promises to revitalize Little India, transforming it into a lively tourist landmark in the heart of Bangkok, attracting visitors from around the world. (TAT)
