Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has presided over the opening ceremony of the Thailand Buffalo Heritage event at Ayutthaya Historical Park, where numerous farmers and officials gathered to celebrate the cultural and economic contributions of buffalo breeds to Thailand’s tourism industry.

Key figures from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and the Ministry of Education also attended the ceremony, which featured a collection of buffalo breeds from various Thai farms.

Highlights of the exhibition included Yadfah and her calf from Chaichana Farm, highlighting the deep cultural connection Thais share with these animals. The fair also showcased “The Enchantment of Siam Buffaloes,” a performance featuring well-known buffaloes from across the country. This was followed by an award ceremony that recognized buffaloes with outstanding features.
