PATTAYA, Thailand— A Norwegian male, suffered serious injuries after being struck by a motorbike on Jomtien Beach Roadway, near the entryway of Soi 8, on November 11.
Eyewitnesses stated that Arne Helge Garvik, 58, was strolling along the roadside when a black Yamaha motorbike, driven by Hansen Riisbjerg, a 44-year-old Dane, crashed into him at high speed. The effect moved Garvik into the windscreen of a parked automobile, leading to serious head injuries and abrasions throughout his body.
Riisbjerg, the Danish cyclist, stayed at the scene and worked together with authorities throughout the examination. Garvik was transferred to the Bangkok-Pattaya Medical facility for more medical attention. Examinations into the situations surrounding the mishap are presently underway.
