PATTAYA, Thailand A relatively regular elimination of a mango tree took a magical turn on October 26 when employees found an elaborately sculpted green Buddha image nestled within its trunk. The 100-year old tree, standing at an outstanding 10 meters high and roughly 80 centimeters large, was being reduced in preparation for a spiritual procession arranged for November 5.

As the chainsaw made its mark, the employees were met a sight that left them awestruck– an emerald-hued Buddha image preserved within the heart of the tree. The fragile extraction that followed saw the spiritual image thoroughly eliminated and consequently put for veneration at the regional temple.
