The owner of the Sattahip club that burned down early on Friday early morning, eliminating 15, is under detention at a police headquarters after he reported to cops on Saturday night.

Pongsiri Panprasong, 27, reported to Phlu Ta Luang cops.

His attorney stated Mr Pongsiri had actually admitted to all charges.

The detention occurred not long after the Pattaya Provincial Court signed an arrest warrant for him on 2 charges – irresponsible acts that trigger the death of other individuals and running a nightspot without approval.

The club that burned down, Mountain B, was signed up as a dining establishment.

The fire gutted the club in Sattahip district of Chon Buri at 1am on Friday, eliminating 15 individuals and hurting 38, a few of them seriously. A minimum of 100 pub-goers were jam-packed inside Mountain B when the fire broke out.

The blaze started in a roofing system over an efficiency phase prior to it rapidly infected other locations. Private investigators are attempting to identify the reason for the disaster.

The attorney stated Mr Pongsiri assured to pay the households of the dead 50,000 baht each, with 10,000 baht for each individual hurt.
