CHON BURI – A fire gutted the basement of a hotel under building in downtown Pattaya in the early hours of Saturday.

No casualties were reported and the damage has yet to be approximated.

Black smoke was rippling from the basement of among the 3 structures of Le Bali Hotel which was under building on Soi Thai Udom in tambon Na Kluea, Bang Lamung district, when firefighters and rescue employees hurried to the scene at around 2.10 am on Saturday, stated an authorities at the Pattaya Catastrophe Avoidance and Mitigation Workplace. 5 fire engine were released.

Fireman took more than one hour to put the blaze under control.

Surat Thiangsing, 23, a hotel guard, stated he saw thick smoke coming out of the basement of the hotel’s structure B while patrolling the location. He instantly examined and discovered the smoke originated from a storeroom in the basement, where numerous building products, PVC pipelines and paint were kept.

Employees were hired to assist splash the fire, however were not able to include it. This triggered the personnel to alert Pattaya authorities. All building products were ruined.

Authorities were examining the reason for the fire. Damage has yet to be approximated.
