As soon as upon a time, in a charming little town nestled in the middle of the rich beaches of Pattaya, there lived a curious group of good friends from different corners of the world. There was Inga the Thai-Swede, Liz the Brit, Shazia, the Pakistani-Punjabi, Sue, the Thai-Indian, Tana, the Thai-Chinese, Ayesha the Pakistani-Punjabi and Pat, the Thai/ British/Indian/Singaporean. Regardless of their varied backgrounds, they were the very best of good friends, constantly excited to commemorate each other’s cultures and customs.

As Chinese New Year approached, Inga could not include her enjoyment. She welcomed her good friends over to her cosy home for a grand event. They were simply as delighted at the possibility of experiencing Chinese New Year first-hand. Inga busily embellished her home with lively red lanterns, fortunate signs, and complex paper cut-outs, while her good friends searched in wonder. Liz tried to assist by hanging lanterns however wound up in a twisted mess of strings, much to everybody’s amusement.

As the night approached, Inga taught her good friends the customizeds and routines of Chinese Brand-new Year. They excitedly found out to make dumplings, tossing the dough with gusto and laughing as they formed them into different entertaining types, from misshapen pigs to uneven chickens. They collected around a table packed with standard Chinese meals, from mouth-watering spring rolls to sweet moon cakes. Regardless of their preliminary doubt, the multi-cultural good friends excitedly tested each special, enjoying the distinct flavours and textures.

As the night endured, they exchanged stories and laughter, their bond growing more powerful with each passing minute. Inga’s good friends understood that while they originated from various corners of the world, they shared a typical love for relationship, laughter, and the spirit of event. Before leaving to return home to their households, the ladies collected in a circle, hands gripped together in unity. They made a guarantee to commemorate Chinese New Year together every year, welcoming the customs and customizeds that brought them better as good friends and as a worldwide household.
