Pattaya authorities apprehended a homeless female who utilized a meat cleaver to assault a male she declared attempted to rape her.
Recognized just as Somjit, 49, the female resides in a deserted structure on Thepprasit Roadway Soi 9. She stated upon her April 25 arrest that she and another homeless guy, Sujin, 52, were consuming at the deserted condominium when he attempted to rape and struck her.
She resisted, got the cleaver and sliced him in the head, she admitted to authorities.
A bleeding Sujin staggered out of the structure and was discovered by next-door neighbors 500 meters away, both hurt and intoxicated.
Authorities are continuing their examination.
