A 44-year-old Indian traveler, Vivek Kumar, unfortunately drowned in a hotel swimming pool in Pattaya City on June 13.

Eyewitness Mongkol Wichasawat, a 22-year-old regional homeowner, stated he discovered Kumar, accompanied by a female good friend, having a hard time in the swimming pool. Presuming it was a lively act, he quickly understood the severity of the circumstance.

Mongkol rapidly looked for help from the hotel’s security workers, who instantly recovered Kumar from the water and started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) while calling the city rescue group.

In spite of efforts from the Sawang Boriboon rescue system and medical group at Bangkok Pattaya Healthcare facility, Kumar stayed unresponsive and was noticable dead upon arrival at the medical facility.
