On December 9th, ISKCON followers signed up with agents from other faiths (Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, and Hindu) at the yearly interfaith event held at the Sanctuary of Fact in Pattaya, Thailand. They provided kirtan for the thousands in participation and offered prasadam and Srila Prabhupada’s books in cubicles at the occasion.

The yearly interfaith event honoring Thailand’s King was hung on the day before the Pattaya Ratha Yatra. Pattaya, a popular seaside city in Thailand, is understood for its attractive beaches and varied culture. The renowned Sanctuary of Fact, where followers collected with members of other faiths, is a spectacular, elaborately sculpted wood temple that stands as a testimony to standard Thai workmanship.

Pattaya’s Temple President Dharmaraja Dasa, a disciple of Bhakti Vighna Vinasa Narasimha Swami, developed the ISKCON temple in the city of Pattaya, in some cases called “Sin City” since of its night life. Under his management, followers have actually brought the light of Lord Chaitanya’s message there, and Lord Jagannatha blesses the city throughout the yearly Chariot Celebration. Dharmaraja welcomed his 33 Chinese godbrothers and sis and about 100 followers from Thailand, Russia, Israel, Japan, and the U.S. to participate in the occasion.

Followers were specifically pleased to be signed up with by B.V.V. Narasimha Swami and Kavicandra Swami for this happy and exceptionally effective event where participants heard and shouted the Maha Mantra.

Madhurika Devi Dasi from Los Angeles, in addition to other followers, provided kirtan, and there was likewise an abhisheka, throughout which Nitai Priya from Dubai led followers in the chanting of the Holy Call. “The owner of the sanctuary bathed the Divine being of Krishna, and his children, who were worn saris, danced ecstatically with the followers,” stated Madhurkika.
