A Japanese traveler succumbed to theft in Pattaya. Mr. Toshiak Shinohe, a Japanese nationwide, reported to the Pattaya City Police Headquarters after being pickpocketed while riding a Songthaew taxi or a customized pickup (baht-bus) to accommodate travelers along Soi Bua Khao Pattaya, November 9.
He stated that he and a good friend were on the Songthaew when 2 ladyboys sat next to him. They were talked to sidetrack his attention. When the females left, Shinohe found his wallet missing out on in addition to 40,000 Thai baht, 100,000 yen (around 23,000 baht), different ATMs and recognition cards.
