SATTAHIP, Thailand— In a presentation of military expertise and cooperation, the Cobra Gold 2024 amphibious training workout unfolded at the Royal Thai Navy’s training school, No. 15, Hat Yao Beach in Sattahip on March 1.
Led by Admiral Adung Phan-Eiam, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, the workout saw involvement from essential figures consisting of Back Admiral Christopher D. Stone, Leader of Expeditionary Strike Group 7, Job Force 76, Amphibious Force of the U.S. Navy, and Back Admiral Cho Choong-Ho, Leader of the fifth Flotilla, Republic of Korea Navy.
Throughout the workout, marine vessels and amphibious systems strongly protected control of the beachhead, straight facing opposing forces. Naval workers showcased their competence by using marine weapons to release barrages, while collaborated air assistance, consisting of fighter airplane, enhanced the attack, considerably decreasing the opposing forces’ capability to strike back versus the beachhead. The amphibious forces showed their efficiency by permeating the territorial waters of the opposing forces, ensuring the securing of the beachhead’s security.
Getting involved forces in this year’s workout consisted of contingents from the Thai armed force, U.S. forces, and South Korean forces.
