While lots of travelers pertain to Pattaya for Songkran, the bus station had plenty of individuals leaving town as the vacation started.
The North Pattaya bus station was loaded April 12 with individuals headed upcountry for Songkran. An overall of 40 buses a day went out to 3 stations in Bangkok and Samut Prakan, beginning at 4 a.m.
The exodus started April 10 and station workers noted it was busier than at any time because 2019.
The majority of people will return on April 17 or after.
