Pattaya City, renowned for its vibrant environment and growing tourist market, is starting a journey to cultivate democratic worths and understanding amongst its youth. In a quote to empower the more youthful generation with an extensive understanding of governance within a democratic structure, the city just recently arranged a two-day training program.
The occasion gathered the existence of well-regarded figures such as Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngamphichet, Council Chairman Banlue Kullavanijaya, Council Deputy Chairman Wichet Nongyai, and Secretary to the Mayor Phumpipat Kamolnart. Accompanying them were members of the Pattaya City board, heads of federal government departments, and trainees from Pattaya City School Nos. 1-11.
The main objective of this training program, managed by the Pattaya City Affairs Committee, was to impart and strengthen democratic understanding amongst the city’s youth and its people. Covering from June 20 to 21, the two-day venture included a series of activities and sessions tailored towards boosting individuals’ understanding of democratic concepts and governance.
In his address, Permanent-Secretary Pramote Tubtim highlighted the significance of the training program. He highlighted the essential function of gearing up young people with a strong structure in governance, as laws and guidelines work as pillars in keeping a well-functioning society. By imparting this understanding, the city desires support a culture of lawfulness and foster unified coexistence amongst its citizens.
The program put focus on a range of subjects, varying from rights and obligations to the concepts of equality and the value of promoting democratic worths.
