CHON BURI: A club on Pattaya’s strolling street was robbed by authorities in the little hours on Tuesday for remaining open beyond legal operating hours.
The 4.30 am raid on Flexx Club in South Pattaya in tambon Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, was led by Pol Lt Col Pichit Chamhuap, the Pattaya authorities chief private investigator, in reaction to grievances it was remaining open after the 2am closing time.
About 50 Thai and foreign consumers remained in the club, lots of dancing to music. Cops obstructed all exits, separated the consumers by gender and inspected their recognition files.
The club supervisor was apprehended and charged with running the location without a licence and remaining open and offering alcohols after hours.
Cops stated given that the club had actually been robbed sometimes formerly and resumed without a licence. A letter would be sent out to the provincial guv suggesting its closure.
