Pattaya resonated with the echoes of custom and festivity as Mayor Poramet Ngamphichet led the yearly Vegetarian Celebration on Oct 14. The heart of the event was the spiritual Vegetarian Hall in Naklua, home to the revered Divine being “Poy Sian Jow Sue.”

The celebrations unfolded with a magnificent procession, embellished with lively colours and symbolic dragons and lions, starting at the Sawang Boriboon Structure. The path, a tapestry of cultural significance, injury through essential landmarks and a symbolic turn onto Sukhumvit Roadway, tracing a counter-clockwise course. In the middle of the dynamic environment, the procession passed through Sawang Fa Roadway, immersing itself in the busy atmosphere of the Naklua New Market.

The spiritual essence deepened as the procession reached the Numchai Crossway, taking a best turn onto the Old Market path. The journey culminated at the Lan Pho Park Public Garden, a tranquil area by the stunning beach. Here, a spiritual routine unfolded, welcoming the magnificent existence of “Kiew Huang Huk Jow” (the 9 divine beings who are the spiritual mascots of the celebration) and “Bhodisttava” (likewise referred to as Chow Mae Kuan Im, the goddess of grace, empathy & & recovery).

This phenomenon was not restricted to dignitaries; the general public enthusiastically got involved, embodying a cumulative spirit and unity that specified the essence of this wedding. Beyond the visual extravaganza, the Vegetarian Celebration in Pattaya is a treasured occasion that unifies the regional neighborhood in commemorating customs and carrying out acts of benefit.
