Pattaya’s mayor paid a courtesy call to Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to go over growth of the Middle Eastern traveler and company markets.
Poramet Ngampichet and Tourist Authority of Thailand Pattaya Director Anoma Wongyai, in addition to their deputies and city magnate, fulfilled Jan. 17 with HE Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Saudi embassy in Bangkok.
The conference came ahead of the Jan. 20 inaugural flight of Fly Dubai at U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya Airport, which Poramet stated will be a great chance for Pattaya to invite Arab travelers.
The mayor stated the airplane will have plenty of “quality” travelers, such as working individuals, households, health enthusiasts, and couples.
Saudi Arabia is helping Thailand in bringing travelers to the nation by working together with travel programs, Poramet stated.
