PATTAYA, Thailand— Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai and other city authorities introduced a street cleansing effort on December 19 to minimize the levels of PM 2.5 great particle matter, a significant source of air contamination in the area.

The effort, which occurred along Srichan Roadway from the Long Bridge to the New Market in Naklua, included sweeping, cleaning, and spraying water on the roadways to get rid of dust and great particles that can hurt public health.
