The Lions Club of Pattaya-Taksin make salt licks to supplement nutrition for animals in Sriracha’s Khao Chong Lom safeguarded forest.
Lions Past District Guv 310C, Banjong Banthoonprayuk and other members of the club accompanied Leo Club trainees from Pattaya School No. 11 and the Burapha Children Club to the forest to make the salt licks with the assistance of rangers from Khao Chong Lom Forest Defense System.
Minerals from natural plants and water in some locations are inadequate for animals in the park, specifically salt, which is low in healthy food plants.
The activity was supported by the Leo Service Grant of the Lions Clubs International Structure, which sponsors ecological tasks such as mangrove planting, coral growing, synthetic salt licks and browsing locations in the neighborhood to increase green zones with the partnership of federal government sectors.
