PATTAYA, Thailand— An unique operation of Nongprue Police headquarters robbed a store selling cough syrup combined with a boiled Kratom beverage on January 4 in east Pattaya. The owner of the shop, Nakarin, 44, dealt with charges of offering food with Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) without authorization.
The store, called “Story 168,” found on Nernplubwan Roadway was presumed of offering the illegal compound to youths in the location. The authorities discovered 18 bottles of 1-liter of the mix concealed in ice water containers. The raid belonged to a crackdown on organizations offering cough syrup with narcotics, following reports from the Area 2 Cops Command. The mix is understood for causing intoxication amongst youth, triggering distress to their moms and dads.
Nakarin was detained and required to the Nongprue Police Headquarters for more examination. He will be held responsible for his actions and deal with legal effects for unapproved trading in narcotics-laced items. Nongprue authorities alerted the general public to prevent purchasing or taking in such compounds, as they might present major health dangers.
