CHON BURI: A 52-year-old Russian guy was headbutted and suffered a bleeding nose throughout an argument with among the leaders of an anti-government presentation in Pattaya on Sunday night.

The event took place quickly after 6pm, when about 30 protesters collected at Jomtien beach not far from an authorities kiosk at Dong Tan bend in tambon Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district.

The demonstrators required Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s resignation, the rewording of the constitution and reform of the royal organization.

Demonstration leaders took turns speaking in both Thai and English, and consisted of Wanchalerm Kunsen, Narathiwat “Kane” Khamma, and Sirawith “Ja New” Serithiwat.

At one point, while Mr Sirawith was speaking, an immigrant approached and started speaking to the demonstration leaders. He and Mr Narathiwat entered a heated argument, and a battle emerged.

Mr Narathiwat was seen pushing the immigrant with his hands and headbutting the guy in his face. The immigrant, a 52-year-old Russian nationwide, started bleeding from his nose. (continues listed below)

Authorities and administrative authorities on security responsibility hurried to break them up. The Russian was offered first-aid by rescue employees. His 10-year-old child, who was by his side, was weeping.

The demonstrators rapidly distributed.

Mr Narathiwat and the Russian, whose name was reported to be Vladislav, were required to Pattaya police headquarters for questioning.
