Pattaya, Thailand— Pattaya streets came alive with spiritual eagerness on July 26 as instructors and trainees of Pattaya School No. 8 took part in the yearly spiritual procession called “Hae Tien Phansa” or Buddhist Lent Candle light Parade to mark the start of Buddhist Lent. Led by a female Thai classical dancer, followed by a long drum procession, and after that the real candle light procession, the march weaved through the streets of South Pattaya, welcoming residents and travelers to take part making benefit together.
The benefits built up throughout the occasion were committed to Wat Chaimongkol Temple. After the procession, school administrators and instructors carried out a conventional event to provide the offerings to Wat Chaimongkol Temple, more honoring the custom-mades and significance of the celebration.
