PATTAYA, Thailand— A Turkish traveler lost money and a phone worth about 100,000 Baht after his date disappeared from a hotel space on Saturday early morning.
The victim, Mr. Ruhan, informed the cops that he fulfilled a Thai lady on a dating app, who welcomed him to Pattaya from Phuket. They went to some bars in the Strolling Street location of South Pattaya, and after that went back to her space at a hotel in Soi Pattaya Second Roadway.
The lady asked him to shower, and when he came out, he discovered that she had actually left. He examined his possessions and recognized that she had actually taken US$ 2100 dollars (about 73,000 Baht) and an iPhone 14 Pro worth 30,000 Baht.
