SRI RACHA, Thailand— The lifeless body of Mr. Pham Ngoc Quang, a Vietnamese nationwide and team member of a freight ship, was brought ashore near Koh Loy in Sri Racha on January 19. The regrettable event happened when Mr. Quang suffered a serious cardiovascular disease and tries to restore him were not successful.
Rescue workers and ship team members started cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR on Mr. Quang after he experienced a seizure and passed out. In spite of their speedy action, they might not restore him. It is believed that the team member might have had a pre-existing medical condition adding to the catastrophe.
The Sri Racha authorities helped with the transfer of the deceased to Laem Chabang Medical facility for an extensive evaluation to establish the precise cause of death. The examination is continuous to clarify the scenarios surrounding this regrettable event.
