Pattaya-area authorities took 30 unlawfully customized motorcycles in a crackdown on street racing.
About 50 Pattaya, Nongprue and Najomtien officers fanned out from the Jomtien Second Roadway crossway with Sukhumvit Roadway simply after midnight March 12. An obstruction was installed on Sukhumvit to stop all motorcycles.
Any bike discovered to have any sort of customized part or missing out on files and/or license plate was seized and the motorist apprehended.
The crackdown followed widespread grievances from Jomtien locals about late-night street racing.
