Previous winners Atthaya Thitikul and Kanyalak Preedasuttijit will lead the Thai obstacle in the 3rd edition of the Ladies European Thailand Champion next month, organisers stated the other day.
The occasion will once again be held at Phoenix Gold Golf and Nation Club in Pattaya from June 20-23.
The EUR300,000 (roughly 11 million baht) competition is co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Trip (LET) and the Thai Ladies Expert Golf Association (Thai LPGA).
The competition includes 126 gamers– 70 from the LET rankings and 40 from the Thai LPGA rankings plus 16 through sponsor welcomes.
Atthaya and Kanyalak, to name a few Thai gamers, will attempt to keep the prize on house soil.
Teenage experience Atthaya Thitikul raised the prize in the inaugural edition in 2017 and ended up being the youngest ever LET winner at the age of 14 years, 4 months and 19 days.
Twelve months later on Kanyalak raced to a 15-stroke triumph.
Phoenix Gold president Chanya Swangchitr stated: “It’s a fantastic honour that Phoenix Gold will host this crucial women’ golf competition for the 3rd successive year. Over the previous 2 years, history has actually been made in this competition and we have excellent memories.
” We are grateful to invite leading golf players from all over the world to contend in the competition.”
