An Australian traveler was saved when his leased jet ski experienced mechanical failure and wandered away from coast on July 7. Reacting to a distress signal, the Pattaya and Sattahip Marine Authorities promptly acted to help. The jet ski was reported to be adrift, heading northwest at a range of around 4-5 kilometers.
The Marine Authorities quickly released a rescue boat to find and help the stranded traveler. Led by Mark from M&M Trip and Captain Champ of Bang Saray, the group effectively situated Mr. Idra, a 37-year-old Australian nationwide. The Marine Authorities Department 3, Coast Guard Battalion, supplied preliminary help and guaranteed the safe return of the traveler to Bangsaray.
