PATTAYA – Cops were searching for a suspect who assaulted an 18-year-old Chinese trainee with a stick and robbed her of prized possessions worth almost 30,000 baht prior to getting away in a pickup late Sunday night.
The trainee, determined as Laichu Han, sustained a cut on her head and skin injuries on her knees and legs. She informed cops that she was going back to her space alone from a corner store behind LK Hotel in South Pattaya when a male leapt out of a white pickup and struck her with a stick.
She was knocked unconscious, she stated, and later on got up on the roadside in the rain. She then went to individuals close by for aid.
The Chinese trainee stated that she lost her purse consisting of 3,000 yuan (about 15,000 baht), 3,000 baht and a cellphone worth 10,000 baht.
Regional locals stated that they heard a lady shouting and headed out to examine. They saw a male in black bring a wood stick and a handbag go to a pickup and repel.
They did not see the Chinese female till she approached them later on to look for aid, they stated.
