PATTAYA – 2 immigrants were jailed naked on a beach in the resort city on Sunday, authorities stated.
Pattaya authorities hurried to the beach in front of the Central Celebration Pattaya Beach shopping center around 3am after spectators signaled them that they had actually seen 2 immigrants– a male and a woman– naked.
Authorities stated the 2 were intoxicated and were purchased to get dressed prior to being taken to Pattaya police headquarters.
Pol Capt Sombat Kaewmulsuk, a deputy superintendent of the police headquarters, informed Thairath Online that they were Russian travelers.
The 2 were charged and fined for public indecency and unsuitable behaviour triggering difficulty to others.
Authorities did not provide information of the fine, however the Crook Code mentions that public indecency brings an optimum fine of 500 baht.
