The Department of Unique Examination (DSI) on Monday performed a search on a hypermarket chain after finding the purchase of imported items from a trade partner associating with pork smuggling.
The DSI’s Director-General, Pol. Maj. Suriya Singhakamol exposed after performing a search at the head office of the hypermarket chain that a cash transfer path with a trading partner amounting to over 390 million baht.
He specified that it is not yet possible to conclude whether any misdeed has actually taken place, as an in-depth examination is needed.
The files connected to the purchasing and offering deals and the cash transfer paths in between the 2 business seem regular company deals. Nevertheless, whether the imported items abide by the law or not will require to be even more examined and clarified.
