Phra Kittisophon, abbot of Wat Samakeebanpot is signed up with by Kampol Tansajja Nong Nooch director, as he blesses the newborn elephant called “Plai Daorung” (Early Morning Star).

Nong Nooch Tropical Garden invited its very first child elephant of 2023 with a dancing parade.

Park Director Kampol Tansajja was signed up with by Phra Kittisophon, abbot of Wat Samakeebanpot, for a Feb. 17 true blessing event for the pachyderm born upon Feb. 10 to mom elephant “Pang Noi Might”, 21, and “Plai Ningnong”, 27.

Flower garlands were put on the brand-new child, which got true blessings from the monk. The brand-new child jumbo was called “Plai Daorung” (Early Morning Star) and is the 105 th elephant born at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.

Following the event, 50 elephants were drawn out to carry out a dancing parade at the park’s Prakum Chang Shrine.
Mom and child jumbo are stated to be in great health.
