Pattaya introduced its yearly interagency job force to impose security guidelines on marine transport.
Deputy Mayor Manote Nongyai and Phuripat Teerakulpisut, deputy director-general of the Marine Department, opened the Marine Security Center at Bali Hai Pier April 11. It will go through April 17.
The job force unites agents from the Marine Department, Marine Authorities, Banglamung District, Pattaya Municipal Government, the Chonburi Tourist and Sports Department, Bangkok Medical Facility Pattaya and the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Structure.
Together, they will invest the week inspecting boats prior to they leave Bali Hai Pier to make sure boat aren’t overwhelmed and have actually the needed variety of life vests. Licenses for boats and team will be examined and vessels examined for seaworthiness.
In case of mishaps, Sawang Boriboon and Bangkok Health center Pattaya will take part in saves.
