PATTAYA, Chon Buri: This eastern seaside traveler town was strangely peaceful on Wednesday night after a lockdown order was provided by the provincial infectious illness committee to consist of the spread of the coronavirus illness.

Under the order, Bang Lamung district, consisting of Pattaya, was stated a “optimal control (red) zone” after the variety of Covid-19 infections soared to 144 on Wednesday.

All outlet store are closed, other than takeaway food stores and drug shops.

Likewise closed are massage parlours, physical fitness centres, clubs, bars and alcohol stores.

Corner stores are closed from 10pm-5am.

All home entertainment places in Pattaya shut their doors last night. Strolling Street was empty. Just a few individuals were seen heading back to their houses. No travelers remained in sight.

Food stores which generally deal with night revellers were closed. Automobiles usually seen vending food and various products were gone.

The whole beach was empty.
