CHON BURI: Seventy-eight Thai and foreign travelers were detained for breaking the Covid-19 emergency situation decree throughout raids on 2 stores in Pattaya on Monday night, cops stated.

About 8pm, Nong Prue cops led by Pol Col Decha Chidsonghong robbed the Fat Kid Bar & & Grill at the mouth of Soi Boonsampan 5/1 in tambon Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district.

Eleven immigrants and one Thai were discovered drinking beer in the basement of the store.

About 9.30 pm, administrative authorities and Bang Lamung cops browsed the Bamboo store at Moo 5 in tambon Nong Prue.

They discovered 66 travelers, 37 Thais and 29 immigrants, drinking and eat alcohol in the store.

Both groups were required to Bang Lamung police headquarters and charged with breaking the restriction on events enforced by the provincial contagious illness committee under the emergency situation decree.
