PATTAYA: Twenty-five immigrants and 3 Thais were detained when authorities and regional authorities robbed 2 houses in a housing estate where a birthday celebration was being hung on Sunday night in offense of Covid-19 constraints.

About 50 Bang Lamung authorities and administrative authorities got in the 2 houses at Exquisite Swimming pool Villas, Pattaya, in Soi Boonsampan 11/1 in tambon Nong Prue about 11.50 pm.

They were acting upon grievances from neighbours that a loud birthday celebration was being held at homes Nos 95/39 and 95/40 in the estate.

The birthday celebration was held for a Philippines nationwide.

The plaintiffs stated the party-goers were consuming alcohol and the music was extremely loud and irritating.

The officers discovered an overall of 28 revellers in the 2 homes, 11 males and 17 ladies – 13 Filipinos, 6 Russians, 3 Thais, 2 French and one each of British, Canadian, Albanian and Cambodian citizenship.

All were apprehended and required to Nong Prue police headquarters. They were charged with breaching the provincial statement under the Contagious Illness Act and the emergency situation decree forbiding events throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
